Here’s Where We Had Lunch Today

Posted by on October 22, 2009 at 3:25 pm (Day 26).

Schilthorn

On top of the Schilthorn in Switzerland. I shit you not; I took this picture right after I finished my sweet and sour chicken salad.

(I’ll tell you how France was soon.)

Salads from the grocery store… sorry if that’s disappointing, but it’s the truth. My Greek salad was probably gluten-free, though I did have a roll with it. We then adjourned inside to the rotating restaurant that was featured as a location in the James Bond movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” for 4CHF (Swiss Francs) coffees.

When I clicked on your balloon at lunch today, it showed a gondola in the middle of nowhere (Switzerland). Were you in it?

WOW! No wonder the Swiss are so reserved. They must be awestruck all the time!

We weren’t in that gondola at that moment, but we did ride it. It’s the longest cable car in the world, according to the possibly outdated sign in the tourist center.
